Who?

Every since I was in elementary school taking my SOL test I always wondered why they made us fill out a part that asked our race/gender... Why did that matter? When filling out your registration to vote, a job, school, and apartment application anything. Even setting up a Facebook/Myspace account, whats your religion, what city you live in?

Does it matter? Ok, so let's say I'm a 20 year old African American female... The first person thing a lot of people are going to think, oh she probably ghetto, probably failed a grade or two, she has a least one kid, and I KNOW she worked at McDonalds threw out high school, if she even finished... They see a homosexual female, oh she probably had her heart broken, or maybe she got rapped by her daddy, naw her daddy probably won't in her life.

You see a young black man with a nice car, rims, nice clothes and shoes, first thing people think, oh that's his mama car, he probably a drug dealer, I wonder how many kids he has. If they see a homosexual male walking round the mall, they automatically think, oh he probably has a STD.

A lot of the judging in the world doesn't even come from other people, people have the tendency to judge themselves just to "fit in" "black people don't act like that, white people listen to this, girls say and do this, boys supposed to dress like this..." but why? What if you are comfortable doing something else? Does listening to "white" music make you any less African American?

I think my favorite definition for the word is: "Label - pronounce judgement on" If you label me then that means you want me to meet certain expectations in some areas but give me limits in other areas...

If you label me as your daughter that means I have to do daughter tasks, I have to listen to and respect everything you say, but when it comes to me speaking my mind there's an issue... Label as me your mother then I'm forced to be in your life til DEATH, but what if I wasn't fit to be your mother just yet and I know that you are better in someone else hands, so does me handing you over make me a bad mother? What if you have a son, he supposed to carry on the family name, but what if hes gay or just doesn't wanna have kids, did he fail his duties as a son?

You label me as a Christian... does that mean I have to take communion once a month, go to church every Sunday, stop being a sinner... And a quick word to all 'Christians' there is NOTHING you can do to stop being a sinner, you will always be a sinner, the only difference is your a SAVED sinner after accepting Jesus Christ.

I saw a banner outside of a church one day that said "We were sent to be witnesses, not judges" and that is one of the truest things I ever read... If the definition of label is to pronounce judgement on, and if we were not sent to be judges, we should stop labeling others and ourselves as well. Once we break away from the labels, we may POSSIBLY break away from the judgement.

Divine Control

One quick question for my Daddy, when you designed the human body, why did you make the heart the center? divine

As we all know the human body, well actually any animal, has a heart. The main purpose of our hearts is to pump the blood flowing thru out our body, it takes the blood without oxygen and adds oxygen to it. And it works from the day you are inside your mother's womb, to the day you die your heart is pumping NONstop! And it does this involuntary. Even if you asked your heart to stop pumping, it simply wouldn't.

If we broke our leg, the rest of our body would continue to work. Deaf people can still see, blind can still hear. If we lose one of our senses or body parts the other ones strengthen and make up for what was lost. We can be brain dead but still be alive. But what happens when our hearts stop pumping? We die, after our heart shuts down, everything else falls right behind it. Some people have the benefit of receiving an artificial heart because of heart failures that could not be recovered.

Whoever decided to use our heart as the illustration for love was a complete genius! Because when we find true love it has a domination over what we do with everything else. When we find our love we smile all the time, mind is filled with happy thoughts, listen to happy love songs, and no matter what the rest of the world is doing as long as our love is ok, then we are fine!

But as soon as love leaves, we can't think straight, the littlest things make us upset, we cry til our eyes are dry, look at everybody else like love is not real, all the rainbows turned gray, and we don't want to do anything but lay around and feel our heart splitting into pieces (a true heart break). You may come across another love, but it will NEVER be like that first.

I hope you all are seeing the picture I'm painting. We were born with ONE heart and when that one heart fails that's it, unless you go and get a man-made heart, or a heart that once belonged to someone else. I somewhat answered my own question, when God structured the human body, He knew the heart would be the control center to everything else that flows into the body. Just like He knew love would be the control center of our lives. I say that to say this, be careful who you let and who you don't let in your heart.

Humble Yourself

Today as I was sitting in the car getting my thoughts together for my Eddie Long story, I saw a caterpillar. Caterpillars are not very attractive, they crawl all over the ground, eating leaves, just living a real low down life... Then they go into hiding, they go into their cocoons and stay away from the world for a period of time. Then they come out as butterflies, beautiful bright colored wings, flying all across the world, drinking sweet nectar from the flowers.

God has place us all in a butterfly life cycle. We go throw our caterpillar stage, not working or working for little, busing tables, fixing cars, doing hair, pretty much just straight up struggling! But all the dirt we were eating was only to fill us up and prepare us for the hibernation we are about to go throw.

We go into a cocoon, where no one can talk to us, no one can see us, we depressed, sitting at home crying, nobody understands, don't want to be bothered. But in HIS time, we come out, beautiful, no longer eating leaves, but drinking sweet nectar, no longer busing tables, but owning the restaurant, no longer fixing cars, but buying many cars just cause we can. There is nothing wrong with living and appreciating the lavish life, it feels good, but don't look down on the other people going thru their caterpillar stage.

2 Chronicles 26:16 "But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall..."

Keep this is mind when you look at somebody who is going thru something in life, remember that you are not Jesus, you live a sinful life just like everybody else walking this earth. You are not perfect and neither is the person next, in front of, or behind you, humble yourself to better view other peoples lives.

Bishop Eddie Long

Many people may or maybe not be aware of the latest scandal that Bishop Eddie Long is involved in, he has been accused by two men that they were sexually coerced by Bishop Long. They say it happened when they were 17 and 18, they are now 20 and 21. He used his 'power' to have the young men thinking that what they did was right and that God wouldn't punish them, it did not make them homosexuals, and that they had to follow their master. One of the young men participated in a private ceremony where jewelry and bible scriptures(vowels) were exchanged, Long expressed his love and passion for the boy, but said it was NOT homosexual. He took him on trips all over the world, and they stayed in one bed in the hotel rooms. Long's attorney denies all claims. Now, this is just what the news says.

I did my research and Bishop Eddie Long is pretty big. Church down in GA, honored by MANY different organizations. Chosen to host and speak at Mrs. King funeral. Spoke in front of presidents. He has written many books, did a song with Ludacris, I mean he really on his grind. He has over 30,000 people in his congregation, plus he reaches out to people throw videos, satellite church in other churches, and TV shows. In 2005 he had a money scandal at the church dishing himself too much money on the low, 2006 students boycotted their own graduation because Long was going to be speaking and they did not agree with his "God can 'deliver' homosexuals." Now in 2010 two boys came up saying in 2007 Long was having sexual acts with them.

Kanye said it best, "No ONE man, should have all that power." And I agree with him because man does not know how to humble themselves. They have a problem being money, and power hungry.

Deuteronomy 8:12-14 says,"Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery."

See I think, and this is simply just MY opinion, that Eddie Long got a little full of himself. He has all this money, all these people looking at him, buying his videos, tithing thru the TV, I really think he just got extremely big headed, and forgot WHO actually gave him all the glam.

Now, we all know we do not work on our time we work on God's time and I feel as tho this reason this came out now and not then is because God needs time to humble Eddies heart. I think Eddie forgot that he came from a little town in NC, used to work at a car dealership, and used to only have 300 members in his church. The money and the power got to him. 3 years have passed since the boys claim this act started to take place. 3 is the number of new beginnings.

God had to put Eddie out there for a min, so that He could bring him back in. God and Eddie have a few things they have to discuss before anything else takes place. They gotta have a little personal time for Eddie to humble himself. Bishop Eddie Long, I'm praying for you. You have now been added to my permanent prayer list. And I encourage you all to do the same.

... Spiritual

When we were born God placed our spirit into flesh. He specifically picked which spirit He wanted matched up with the flesh. Our spirit and the temple that it dwells in is no mistake at all. From the day we were born to the day we physically die, we are bound to this body. There is nothing we can do to change it, we were all made perfectly imperfect.

The body is often referred to as a temple. Temple is defined by a place of worship consisting of an edifice(structure) for the worship of a deity(divine God)... The word Spirit is defined as an invisible substance contracted with the material body. And the word flesh is defined as the body of human beings. We are all spirits, simply trapped in a temple until the day our mission is complete and we are given our new mission. We should be using our temples as an illustration for our spirits.

When we die our spirits are judged, not our flesh. In sequence it goes:
God -> Jesus -> Spirit -> Flesh
Our spirit is the closest thing we have to make a connection. A lot of people use that as an excuse for their actions "my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak," understand that they use their tongue, which is flesh, to make that statement.

When we die our flesh is left down on earth as our spirits ascent to heaven for judgement. So it doesn't matter what your flesh did, it matters how your spirit lived. All the good works you did with your flesh, was it really sincere within your spirit, or did you do it to make your flesh look good? This is why is is not our job on earth to judge, because we can not read a persons spirit, we only see their flesh.

Lets not live as humans, but live as spirits. Live the remainder of our lives, focused on what our spirits want instead of living off what our flesh wants. Not our brain, not our heart, not other people, but follow our spirit. Since we can not be disconnected from our flesh until death, we can use our flesh to study the word and plant the goodness in our spirit, then go out recruiting others to do the same. It's time for us to get in tune with the spiritual side of life until the day we are released.

Who Is Writing This World's Bible

The original Holy Bible was written by numerous people who all had an experience with God. Passed thru written letters, or verbal communication. The books and letters were found and put together, many books were left out of the bible but are still available for reading. So, my question is, who is writing today's bible?

In the Bible, there are people from all locations, and every social class. Murders, slaves, prostitutes, drunks, the poor, the rich, the sick, the healers, the Kings, the Pharaohs, prisoners, but they all had a connection with the God. The Bible is full of testimonies of how The Spirit moved thru these people. The miracles, the prophecy,

So when we read the bible we are reading the stories from these people and their worldish ways, but how God still worked with them. It shows peoples rewards, and their consequences. The Lord has not changed, and is doing this in the present that He did in the past.

Have you ever thought about the stories that are going to be written in the new bible, that will be for the world after ours. Finding the new territory, Aids and Cancer, Swine Flu, all the dieases, drugs, all the wars, the bombs, the Indian tribes, the Africans being made into slaves, the nations, the different presidents, the government, all the natural disasters, the babies being brought back to life, the technology advances, the different religious dominations, the major preachers, the popes. Just think about YOUR testimony for a min. Now think about the other people around you and their testimony.

I feel like we have a book we all need to come together and start writing just so that the next world will know who to serve and just how good He has been since day one and that He will do the same and better for them. Its our duty to guide them the same way Jesus, Job, Noah, Paul, Esther, and David guided us to God.
